This year's college trip took our 11th graders to four college campuses around the LA area. It is a unique opportunity for our students to step into a college campus and imagine themselves as college freshmen. The highlight of the trip, for me, was observing the connections that formed among the students. It was heartwarming to see individuals who hadn't interacted much before come together and share this experience. Spending time with the students outside of our usual school environment was refreshing. I loved hearing the students ask questions about the college experience and talk amongst each other about their college aspirations!
