Hello everyone! 👋

I'm passionate about chemistry, and I'm thrilled about sharing that passion through teaching. It brings me joy to introduce students to the "central science" and guide them through exciting lab experiments.

Before diving into the world of education, I spent 13 years serving in the Navy, first on active duty and later transitioning to the reserves. My military journey concluded when I retired in 2022.

Beyond the classroom, I cherish the great outdoors, camping adventures, and exploring new places with my family. I'm blessed with a loving wife and three kids, aged 7, 10, and 20, who constantly fill my life with adventure. I'm also onvolved in my church and enjoy woodworking when I can find the time.

I teach college prep chemistry, which is the study of matter and the changes it undergoes. We start learning about matter and atoms and then work to different types of changes through chemical reactions. Science is a cross-curricular class where we use math and writing to analyze and express the world around us. I look forward to learning with your students!
