Vice Principal

I am honored to serve our students and staff here as the Vice Principal of the O'Farrell Charter school.

As a San Diego native I grew up in Chula Vista just a few miles from the San Ysidro border. Leading educators and guiding students in my community has always been a passion of mine since earning my bachelor’s degree in English at San Diego State University and simultaneously learning from entry level roles in education. After progressing in my career as a mentor, coach and educator I obtained my teaching credential and masters degree from National University. Recently, in my pursuit for higher education I’m proud to be back at San Diego State University pursuing my second masters degree in Educational Leadership.

Personally, I have a two year old daughter and I look forward to the day she can become an O'Farrell Falcon.  Collectively, I have worked in Education for 13 years and I  am fortunate to work where our school motto; ‘I have the power to create a great life for myself’, aligns with my own values. Every position I’ve held from: campus security, varsity basketball coach, substitute teacher, English teacher, and team leader has impacted me greatly and shaped my leadership philosophy.

I will continue to passionately pour into the communities that made me feel worthy, taught me to believe in myself and pushed me to learn what was beyond my sight. I aim to provide that same experience for the students here in our O’Farrell community.

Feel free to let me know if there is anything I can do to help better serve your students. Go Falcons!
