About Mr. Pollard
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and now live in San Diego with my two children and my mother. I received a bachelors in English at SDSU, a masters in education at National University, and have been Nationally Board Certified in Language Arts. I started teaching at O'Farrell Middle School in 2004 and am currently working at the high school. I teach homebase, English, and photography, and I run a photo and gaming after school DIVE club. My goals for my students are to foster a positive reading culture, to help students develop their identity, and to advance their writing and critical thinking. Outside of school, I enjoy live music, baseball games, mountain biking, pinball, and comics.
