Hello everyone! 👋
I'm passionate about chemistry and excited to share that passion through teaching. It brings me joy to introduce students to the “central science” and guide them through engaging lab experiments that make chemistry come alive.
Before entering the world of education, I served in the Navy for 13 years—first on active duty, then in the reserves—until retiring in 2022. That experience continues to shape my values, work ethic, and dedication to helping students grow.
Outside the classroom, I love spending time with my family and being outdoors. My wife and I are blessed with three wonderful kids, ages 9, 12, and 22, who keep life adventurous and full of energy. Every summer, we travel together—this past summer we spent several weeks camping throughout California, creating unforgettable memories along the way.
I also enjoy making things—whether it's woodworking, sewing, or working with other creative mediums, I find joy in building and crafting. I'm actively involved in my church community, which is an important and fulfilling part of my life.
I'm here to support you! 🤝 If you have any questions or need help, don’t hesitate to reach out via email. I’m committed to doing everything I can to help our students succeed in the fascinating world of chemistry. Let’s make it a great year together!
